Righteousness Speaks

Righteousness speaks; whether it’s based on law or faith.

Romans 10:4-10

V.4 For Christ is the END of the law for righteousness to everyone WHO BELIEVES.

V.5 For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on LAW shall LIVE BY that righteousness.

V.6 BUT the RIGHTEOUSNESS based on FAITH SPEAKS as follows: DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is to bring Christ down),

V.7 Or ‘WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?’ (that is to bring Christ up from the dead).

V.8 But what does it say? “THE WORD (which is God) IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART” that is, the WORD OF FAITH which we are preaching.

V.9 That if you CONFESS with your MOUTH Jesus as Lord, and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you WILL BE SAVED;

V.10 For with the heart a man believes, resulting in righteousness, and WITH THE MOUTH he confesses, resulting in salvation.

The POWER behind these scriptures is amazing! God IS THE WORD (John 1:1-2) Jesus was with Him when He SPOKE and CREATED!

The exciting part; is that He has given us the SAME MANDATE

Mark 11:22-24;

V.22 and Jesus answered saying to them, “HAVE FAITH IN GOD.”

V.23 “Truly I say to you, WHOEVER SAYS to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART, but BELIEVES that what he SAYS is going to happen, IT WILL BE granted you.

V.24 Therefore, I SAY to you, ALL THINGS for which YOU PRAY and ASK, BELIEVE that YOU HAVE RECEIVED them, and they WILL BE granted you.

There IS a stipulation though; you MUST FORGIVE. Forgiveness is NOT AN OPTION it’s a command. There is NOTHING that we ever go through that was as painstakingly  difficult as what Jesus went through on the way to the cross; when He was nailed to the cross for YOU. We ALSO, forgive BY FAITH as an act of our WILL. Not because we want to BUT BECAUSE He said to.

Do you have a painful memory from childhood that is keeping you bound (meaning that you think about it all the time? That is God showing you that you haven’t truly forgiven? Jesus forgave you; why don’t you forgive? If you refuse to forgive, God won’t forgive you of your sins. (Mark 11:26)

Remember the slave who owed the King ALOT of money? The King forgave him the debt (like a years worth of pay); but what did the slave do? He went out and found a fellow slave who owed him ONLY A DAYS wage. When that slave begged for forgiveness the slave who’d been forgiven a large amount would NOT forgive the other slaves debt and beat him and threw him into prison. When the owner (the King) of the slave who was forgiven the debt found out about it, he found that wicked slave and through him into prison until he paid the last cent.

I know that this sound a little off the subject of Righteousness but it isn’t; a righteous man forgives and will go SPEAK to the person who they have “issues” with and asks for forgiveness; even if it WASN’T their fault. I promise you, it’s not easy; BUT it’s worth it. The point is, you want to be clean before God, right?

  • Are you willing to SPEAK RIGHTEOUSNESS?
  • Are you willing To DO THE WORD when it’s hard?
  • Are you willing to be the RESPONSIBLE one and step out in FAITH to SPEAK?

YOUR FAITH speaks!

Righteousness speaks!

Does it speak Righteousness of the LAW or the RIGHTEOUSNESS of FAITH?

Is Jesus God’s Son?

The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ

He came to the earth as a man through a virgin! How? Was He really God’s Son?

Luke 2:35-35

V.34 Mary said to the angel, “how can this be since I am a virgin?”

V.35 The angel ANSWERED and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the POWER of the Most High will overshadow you; and for THAT REASON the Holy Child shall be CALLED the Son of God.”

We generally use this portion of scripture at Christmas alone, but the truth is that if He hadn’t been born this way, He wouldn’t have been qualified to take our sins. IT’S THE SEED OF THE WOMAN that will CRUSH THE HEAD OF THE SERPENT!!!

THEN He lived His life as A MAN without SINNING which further qualified Him because NOW HE BECAME the SINLESS, SPOTLESS Lamb of God. Which is what God REQUIRES for the ATONEMENT OF SIN; A SPOTLESS LAMB.

There is more DOCUMENTED proof of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection than ANY OTHER document on earth.

There are over 500 DOCUMENTED eye witness’ of His resurrection!!

Jesus was SLAPPED, HIT IN THE HEAD WITH A REED, HIS BEARD PULLED OUT, SPIT ON, WHIPPED with A SCOURGE having pieces of glass, metal, bone and other things that TORE UP HIS BACK AND BODY for YOU! He was MARRED BEYOND RECOGNITION AS A MAN and the soldiers PUSHED A CROWN OF THORNS INTO HIS HEAD!!

Jesus did that FOR ALL OF MANKIND…That is the SINGLE thing that sets Christianity APART from RELIGION.

Here are some points that sets Christianity apart:

  • He was RAISED from the dead (Matt. 28:6; John 2:22; John 21:14; Acts 3:25; Acts 13:30; Rom. 6:9…etc. There are many more proofs in the bible.)
  • The VEIL IN THE TEMPLE was torn IN TWO so you and I and ALL of mankind can come into the HOLY OF HOLIES and talk to our Creator without a go between, because Jesus paid the price for us to be cleansed from our sins. (Matt. 27:51)
  • He gave us His Holy Spirit so that we would have the POWER to live a life filled with Him, to accomplish the CALL that He put on our INDIVIDUAL lives. (John 14)
  • He IS the One who gave us the POWER TO HEAL the sick, Raise the dead and CLEANSE the lepers, freely you’ve received, freely give. (Matt. 10:8)
  • Christianity is the ONLY FAITH that can have a “PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP” with the LIVING GOD! (Heb. 4:16)
  • He IS coming back AGAIN for THOSE WHO ARE LIVING FOR HIM AND LOOKING FOR HIM. (Heb. 9:28)
  • Jesus IS the ONLY God raised from the dead

I challenge you to read these scriptures about THE Savior: Matthew 27: 27-32; 33-38; 44-54 Matthew 28: 1-10; 18-20

Christianity is the ONLY FAITH that only requires FAITH to believe. Every RELIGION EXCEPT Christianity (which is NOT a religion) requires that a person has to DO something to get into heaven. (Eph. 2:9) Jesus paid the price for ALL of mankind to enter into heaven BUT you must believe BY FAITH!

Will you be found faithful? KEEP LOOKING UP our REDEMPTION IS DRAWING VERY  CLOSE.

Awaking the Giant

I am an intercessor and once a week I meet with some ladies who pray for our Nation, State, and Israel. We also pray for our officials and issues going on in America and around the world.

In 2010 as we were praying for America I saw a Giant; Gulliver to be exact (from my childhood; a movie called “Gulliver’s Travels”) all bound up and laying down with ropes all over him. As we were praying I saw the Giant shake his head like he was waking up.

Two years later in 2012, during intercessory prayer, I saw the same Giant as before only this time I saw him sit up and all the ropes that bound him began breaking off of him so easily, as he sat up.

In the first vision of the Giant, I realized that the Giant represented the Church and that the church was beginning to wake up. Two years later in the second vision when the Giant sat up, I knew the church was fixing to get up and all the bondages that have held the church back were breaking off so that we can take our position in the “Army of God” to which we’ve been called.

On April 13, 2015 at 9:08am I heard the Lord say, “Evil is Lurking in the streets looking for someone to devourer. BIND EVIL & LOOSE RIGHTEOUSNESS, LOOSE LOVE, THE KINGDOM OF LOVE, HOPE, PEACE, AND JOY.” When I started to do this I noticed about three weeks later that our street was alot quieter and peaceful. I still pray that over our neighborhood and City; Then I decided that I would begin to pray it over our Nation as well.

In January of 2016 I asked the Lord what the word for 2016 would be; I said, “I hear that other people asking for a word for the year and Your no respecter of persons, so what is the word for 2016?” I heard “UNITY”.

Last year SEEMED to be the opposite of Unity to me. There was so much mayhem and hate, rioting and violence; but what seems to have happened is that a certain Unity rose up among God’s people and we elected a man who wasn’t supposed to win and is a little rough around the edges but he is a man of integrity, honor, character and has a heart for this Nation.

I imagine that our Founding Fathers may have been that way. I know the disciples of Jesus were according to the word.

After President Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017 and got into office, I had a snippet vision  as I was getting ready the next day; of the Statue of Liberty with a façade over it almost like plaster as to cover up Lady Liberty and it began to break into pieces and fall off of her to the ground. I understand that many people disagree with WHO is our President, but he IS our President and we must honor the position of the Presidency.

It appears that the Giant Woke up!

Fast forward to April 8, 2017. Today someone sent me a link to listen to. In my Monday night worship and fellowship group we’ve been talking about alot of these things; spiritual warfare, worship, the fight that’s going on in the spirit realm for this nation and our freedoms and holding onto Israel tight; UNITY, RIGHTEOUSNESS and so much more. The prophet speaking in this link that was sent to me is Mark Taylor and he was talking about everything that we are talking about on Monday nights.

What an encouragement to know that we are on the right tract—God’s tract, He leads us down the paths of Righteousness. God has great plans for the Church and Israel in the days ahead, and no matter what the enemy try’s to do, God ALWAYS prevails.

Proverbs 11:5 The righteousness of the blameless will smooth his way, but the wicked will fall by his own wickedness.

Look up, be watchful for our redemption is drawing near!

Signs of Spiritual Maturity

Ephesians 4:13-15

“Till we all come to the unity of the Faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, UNTO A PERFECT MAN, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children,…but speaking the truth in love, MAY GROW UP into Him in ALL THINGS, which is the head, even Christ.”

Esteem Earthly Things Lightly– Hebrews 11:24-26 says, “By faith Moses…refused to be called the son of Pharaohs daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ GREATER riches than the treasures in Egypt.”

When Moses grew up and became a man, he found out that he wasn’t really Pharaoh’s daughter’s son. He found out that his parents were really Jews. He chose ill treatment with God’s people when he found out who he really was. Think about the fact that, he REFUSED the things of this world; all the riches that were laid in his lap; he REFUSED them. In the world he was in line for the Throne. He had honor, wealth, AND prestige. Moses had ALL THAT THE WORLD HAD TO OFFER. Yet he esteemed the reproach of Christ GREATER RICHES than the treasures in Egypt.

One of the characteristic’s of growing up spiritually is to esteem earthly things LIGHTLY. You cannot put EARTHLY things ABOVE spiritual things and grow spiritually.

You must die to your flesh and the SENSOR AND PRAISE OF MEN.

1 Corinthians 4:3-4 says, “But as for me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself. V.4 For I am conscious of NOTHIHNG against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the One who EXAMINES ME is the Lord.”

Paul had grown in grace to such an extent that he sought ONLY to commend himself to God. He was NOT INFLUENCED by what others thought of him. He did not get in bondage to ANYONE. It was not a carnal independence but a godly dignity.

An immature Christian can get puffed up or feel like someone has taking advantage them or ignoring them because they weren’t acknowledged for something, but a more mature Christian has grown past alot of these things as they have sought God’s help to grow in whatever area of their lives they feel they need God to help them in.

Our Goal is to grow up in the Faith and Please God

When we are baby Christians we’re self-conscious, and ever-conscious of what others think about us, and can be tossed about with emotions or opinions of others.

The MATURE believer is GOD-CONSCIOUS, and EVER conscious of what GOD’S WORD says about him and to him, because he is able to testify with Paul, “It is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or man’s judgement, ”

He was free to voice his convictions, but He wasn’t conceited or arrogant and inflated with pride. He was not touchy or fretful or resentful. He took no account of evil done to him and paid no attention to a suffered wrong.

The body Christ will mature and move forward into the FULLNESS of Christ as you keep your FOCUS on Jesus and trust Him to help you grow up into Him.

Chosen

God Chose you before the foundation OF THE WORLD to be His child; He said it in His word:

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen generation; a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous Light;

For most of us when we received Jesus as our Savior we have an overwhelming feeling of His forgiveness and cleansing. We felt brand new. Now we have been SANCTIFIED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS; and as we begin to grow in Him we need to learn the “NEW WAY” to live. The “NEW WAY” is to read the bible and spend time with Him.

In Ephesians 5:26 He tells us how to be sanctified (holy, consecrated) because we are CHOSEN.

So that He might sanctify her having CLEANSED her by the washing of water with the Word.

Some people might think this will make you “mightier than thou” which is a lie from the enemy. It won’t make you better than anyone else. What happens is you begin to see yourself the way God sees you and your confidence in Him grows and when your confidence grows in Him then you KNOW THAT HE will hear everything you say and ask. Being CHOSEN is such an honor in my estimation, because MANY ARE CALLED BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN; because they won’t answer the call of God.

The question is: ARE YOU up for the challenge? Are YOU willing to let God change YOU and let Him be YOUR Lord?

Most people LOVE a challenge. We compete in sports, at work for that promotion or for __________________ (you fill in the blank).

This kind of competition is the world’s way. In the kingdom we compete for a NON-PERISHABLE prize and as we seek God He helps our HUMAN ABILITY to win at sports or at work for the promotion because promotion comes from God and He desires for us to succeed. It takes the ‘WORK’ out of it, because HE’S at work IN you, to will and work for HIS good pleasure.

1 Peter 2:11 tells us: to abstain from fleshly lust which wage war against the soul.

How do you do that? By reading the Word. The more you read, the more your fleshly thinking will be washed and cleansed.

Conclusion: As you read the word; the reality of His choosing YOU becomes more prevalent. Fleshly desires will begin to fall away from you and your FOCUS changes.

You begin to desire the things God has on HIS heart, then an amazing thing happens, JOY unspeakable fills your heart because it’s not weighted down with worldly things and a FREEDOM RISES your heart that you’ve not experienced before.

Practice reminding yourself that God has CHOSEN YOU; and see if your confidence doesn’t rise up to the occasion.

This “Green thing”

Today as I was going through some papers I found an article that I thought I should blog. This article is for those youngins’, millennials, and 30 somethings to help them understand how we got so smart. I tweaked it a little bit to make it more enjoyable.

Enjoy, and think about what you are supporting and how your view is effecting your society in a negative way. Our generation had the 411 on the “ORIGINAL” ‘Green thing’. Listen to people who have been where you are right now. Trust me, they’ve got alot more wisdom under their belt than you. Did you get offended at that? It wasn’t a put down, simply a fact.

“Green Thing”

Checking out at the store one day, the young cashier suggested to the “much older” lady that she should bring her own grocery bags. She said, plastic bags are not good for–the environment.

The “much older” lady apologized to the young girl and began to explain some facts to the younger more uninformed cashier, “We didn’t have this ‘green thing’ back in my earlier days.”

The young clerk responded, “That’s our problem today. Your generation didn’t care enough to SAVE OUR ENVIRONMENT for FUTURE generations.” The “older” lady said, your right–our generation didn’t have the ‘green thing’ in our day, she went on to explain: we RETURNED milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they were recycled. But, we didn’t have the ‘green thing’ back in our day.

Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags, that we REUSED for numerous things. The most memorable thing was that we used our brown paper bags as book covers for our school books. This was to ensure that public property (the books provided for our use, by the school) was not defaced by our scribblings. Then we were able to personalize our books on the brown paper bags. But, to bad that we didn’t do the ‘green thing’ back then.

We walked up stairs because we didn’t have an escalator or elevator in every store and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn’t climb into a 300-horsepower machine everytime we needed to go two blocks. But she was right, we didn’t have the ‘green thing’ in our day.

Back then we washed the baby’s diaper because we didn’t have the throw away kind. We dried the clothes on a clothes line, not in an energy-gobbling machine burning up 220 volts. Wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothes, we got brand new clothes at Christmas only and then mom made them. But the young cashier is right; we didn’t have the ‘green thing’ back in our day.

Back then we had one television (black and white with alot of snow) and didn’t have 24 hour programming like you do nowadays. We had a test pattern that would show up after programming was over about 10pm and an announcer that would come on and say “Parents, do you know where your children are?”, and if we didn’t have a television, we might have had a radio to listen to the news in the house–not a TV in every room and the TV screen was the size of a handkerchief (remember them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana.

In the kitchen we blended and stirred by hand because we didn’t have electric machines to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn’t fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on HUMAN power. We exercised by working, so we didn’t need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity. But the young girl is right; we didn’t have the ‘green thing’ back then.

We drank from a fountain or a water hose when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blade in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull. But, we didn’t have the ‘green thing’ back then.

Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service in the family’s $45,000 SUV or Van, which cost what a whole house did before the ‘green thing.’ We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances, and we didn’t need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest burger joint.

But, isn’t it sad the current generation laments how wasteful “OLD FOLKS” were just because we didn’t have the ‘green thing’ back then?

We WERE the “ORIGINAL” generation doing the ‘green thing.’

“The Big Event”

March 26, 2011

**I had a dream that was so real. I remember it as though it just happened. In the dream everyone was going into a huge stadium. I don’t know what the event was for sure but sensed that it had to do with the catching away of the church. The amount of people there was innumerable.

Over and over I kept hearing in an excited whisper tone, “THE BIG EVENT”, “THE BIG EVENT.” There was so much excitement in the atmosphere. I spoke to a couple of men. One of them had glasses on and was quite handsome, with a long brown pony tail and a small curl in his left temple, it was just a greeting type of conversation. Then their was one lady who was very pretty and had blonde hair and for some reason was very interested in me. I met her as I was entering the stadium and spoke with her for a few minutes.

When I found a seat, it felt like this woman was standing over my right shoulder, watching me. The program was about to begin. When I stopped noticing the woman behind me I turn around, then turned back around and when I turned back around my seat had turned into an old timey desk with a separate chair. I noticed that on the top left of the desktop that my husband’s wedding ring was sitting there all by itself. I got up to go look for him and remembered my purse so I turned around to pick it up off of the floor.

I told the blonde headed lady that I was going to look for my husband and when I walked out she followed me out, talking to me the whole time (I wish I could remember what she said). When I got out of the stadium, there was a huge pile of trash bags full of trash in front of me. I began to pick the bags up and throw them up against a freestanding wall to my right (somehow I KNEW the freestanding wall was Jesus) but on the left side of me in front of the bathrooms there was an old gray haired lady who kept saying over and over, “you’d better not do that, you’d better not do that!” I kept on throwing the trash bags against the freestanding wall and said to her ” I’VE GOT TO GET THESE OUT OF THE WAY SO PEOPLE CAN GET IN HERE; I KNEW that the full trash bags were hindrances (such as sins of the flesh or evil things from the devil) that are keeping people out of heaven, then I looked at her thinking…{lady if you want these moved back you’ll have to do it!”} KNOWING at the same time that the devil was disguised as an old gray haired lady to pursued me to abandon my mission.

Once I cleared the trash out of the way so people could get in, I heard my husbands voice, and looked to my left. When I saw him he was very young and I knew that he was around 17 years old. I noticed that his chest wasn’t deformed anymore. As he began to turn towards me an object, made out of obscure glass with holes in it that had no water coming out of them and was on a pedestal came between us (they looked like the fountains in downtown Oklahoma City by the old Kerr McGee building). I said, “I can’t see you, there is something between us.” Then I woke up.**

I know that His return is very near and that at some point His wrath will be poured out. Those who live for Jesus will not experience God’s wrath according to 1 Thess. 5:9 (NASB), which says, “For God has NOT destined US for wrath, but for obtaining salvation THROUGH our Lord Jesus Christ.” God is holy.

Many people live believing that they can live any ol’ way, but that’s Not True, it IS true that we live under the dispensation of grace, but that doesn’t mean that we can live as we please and DO anything we want. He wants us to be led by the Spirit because those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14)

Just now I began to think about the scripture in 2 Peter 3:11-12 “Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning and the elements will melt with intense heat!”

Jesus is the ONLY man who has ever died for the whole world so we can live free from sin. He shed His blood for the remission of sin so that we can come BOLDLY to the throne of Grace.

Hebrews 4:16 Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Run toward the prize of the upward call of God IN CHRIST JESUS…HE LOVES YOU with His life!
