In Jesus you have everything you need
He is Whom you stand IN
- He became ALL things to ALL people.
- He is the One Who is the Mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on BETTER promises.
- You can stand IN Him, on any scripture BY FAITH, and you will see mountains move (meaning whatever is standing in your way spiritually and naturally).
- In Him your faith heals you, IF you know who you are IN HIM; Speak the Word.
**I remember Paul and Jan Crouch sharing about a transponder that they had put up on (I think Mt. Wilson). The signal wouldn’t come through; because there was a LITERAL mountain in the way.
They went to pray and remind the Lord of His word and that He said, that we can SAY to the mountain be taken up and cast into the sea and IF we wouldn’t doubt in our heart, it would be done for us.
After they had prayed and quoted the word back to God. Their TV man came in and said, “IT’S WORKING, IT’S WORKING!! We have a SIGNAL!!”The NATURAL mountain didn’t move but God moved it in the spirit realm and it changed everything that day for Paul and Jan and this particular TV transponder. They KNEW who they were IN Him. Read Heb.4:12**
~ I would like to take a side journey to say, If the enemy ever says to you, “that’s not true or your prayers aren’t working; God doesn’t hear your prayers, etc…remember the devil IS A LIAR.” Jesus said in John 8:44 (last half) says of the devil, “he was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand IN THE TRUTH because there is NO TRUTH in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
“Simply begin to confess, Thank You Lord that I have what I’ve asked for” then remind God what His word says because HE WATCHES OVER IT TO PERFORM IT. ~
2 Corin.11:12-14 Says, “But what I am doing I will continue to do, so that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the matter about which they are boasting.
V.13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. (BUT AREN’T)
V.14 No wonder, for even satan disguises HIMSELF as an angel of light.
V.15 Therefore it is NOT surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.
Remember that God sent His only Son to come to the earth to live AS A MAN so he could experience everything YOU experience and yet He DIDN’T sin, so that He could LEGALLY purchase you back to the Father through His shed blood on the Cross. (Heb.4:15) For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One Who has been tempted IN ALL THINGS AS WE ARE, YET WITHOUT SIN.
- Jesus experienced great agony and sweat great drops of blood in the garden
- He was tempted to doubt at the tomb of Lazarus
- He fought against satan in the wilderness using the word of God
- He fought fear in the garden and yet He said, Not My will but Thine be done.
What Jesus experienced took COURAGE. He knew who He was IN God because He knew the covenant. He showed us how to live IN HIM so that we too can be victorious in every situation.
**Look at the life of John G. Lake for a moment; as a missionary to Africa. This was many years before the modern Full Gospel movement. The deadly bubonic plague broke out in his area and hundreds died. He cared for the sick and buried the dead. Finally the British sent a ship with supplies and a corps of Doctors. The doctors sent for Lake to come aboard and asked him, “What have you been using to protect yourself?”
“Sirs,” Lake replied, “I believe the LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS has set me free from the law of sin and death. And as long as I walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light of the law of LIFE, no germ will attach itself to me.” (an excerpt from Kenneth E. Hagin’s book “IN HIM” I urge you to get this book, it’s an itsy bitsy book but POWERFUL!)**
I’ll close this today; a scripture from 2 Corin. 5:20a which says, “WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST; as though God were making AN APPEAL THROUGH US.”
He wants us to know who we are IN HIM.
When we know who we are IN HIM we’ll be bold and courageous when speaking the Word of God. Then we will share the revelation with others that He’s given to us so that they too can be victorious and know who they are IN HIM. Thus, you are making a disciple of Christ. Which is the great commission to go into all the World. (Mark 16:15)
